Dr. Felipe Faccini specialized in CHIVA in Florence, an innovative technique that aims to preserve the venous capital of the leg and treat venous diseases in an effective and minimally invasive way. Currently, he is one of the instructors for the global certification in CHIVA and saphenous vein preservation, sharing his knowledge with other professionals in the field.

 

He is also the creator of Pró-Safena Mentorship and author of a book on venous hemodynamics, used in training in Brazil and abroad.

 

His passion for teaching and the evolution of science led him to develop mentoring programs that help angiologists and vascular surgeons update themselves and improve their treatments.

 

With hundreds of saphenous veins preserved and patients benefiting, Dr. Felipe Faccini continues to bring possibilities for treating varicose veins and contribute significantly to medical science.

 

He recently received the award for the most cited article in the last 3 years in Jornal Vascular Brasileiro. As of January 2025, Dr Felipe has been cited 149 times in international medical journals. Among them, he was cited in the Editorial of Phlebology, Editorial of JVS-VL and Cochrane, in addition to citations in Guidelines for the treatment of varicose veins in Brazil and abroad. 

 

He was also honored and award at the 44th Brazilian Congress of Angiology and Vascular Surgery in Brasília for scientific publication.

 

He is the one who personally treats all his patients.
